VOLUNTEERS
FOR THE WEEK
Weaving 2026 is run by a volunteer committee. We are looking for people to give some of their time during the congress. These are the jobs:
- BUILDHelp construct the spaces congress happens in.
- WELCOMEMeet people as they arrive and point them where they need to go.
- DOCUMENTPhotograph and record the talks, workshops and gatherings.
- RUN THE DAYKeep sessions, transport and meals moving on time.

GENERATION OF
ARCHITECTS
Weaving 2026 brings architecture students, recent graduates and practitioners from Aotearoa, Australia and Papua New Guinea together for six days in Tāmaki Makaurau, 30 November to 5 December.
- REACH
Students and recent graduates from architecture schools across three countries, in one place for a full week.
- PRACTITIONERS
Tukutuku Day on 2 December is a conference day with local and international speakers, open to professionals and worth 60 CPD points.
- RECRUITMENT
Meet the students and graduates who will be looking for work in practices over the next few years.
- VISIBILITY
Your organisation is credited on this site in the partner roll below and on the home page, by tier.
- HISTORY
ASAC has gathered architecture students since the 1960s, with thirty-six congresses on record. Sponsors join that line.

Artland
Congress is a not-for-profit event organised by a volunteer committee. Sponsorship is what lets students and recent graduates from Aotearoa, Australia and Papua New Guinea come together outside the university studio. There are four partner tiers: principal, premium, official and industry.
